This air filter kit is designed for the Monkey 125 models, enhancing intake efficiency by allowing the removal of the stock air cleaner box. It fits directly into the normal throttle body and is compatible with both stock and custom engine specifications. The kit includes a specially designed connecting tube to maintain optimal intake efficiency and features a blow-by union for hose connection. It also comes with a sensor stay for securing the sensor from the stock air cleaner box. Available in black or red elements, the filter can be compactly installed without altering the vehicle's silhouette and is compatible with both stock and SP Takekawa mufflers.
Installation and Compatibility
By installing this air filter kit, you can remove the stock air cleaner box and make room for the SP Takekawa oil cooler kit, which attaches to the frame. Note that when using SP Takekawa's engine parts, an injection controller is required for setup. The FI-CON TYPE-X Injection Controller is available for the Monkey 125 (JB03) model, but not for the Thai model (MLHJB03).
