The surface is strong, with slightly resistant sizing, slower absorption and drying, and excellent performance for washes, gradations, and soft blending, making it especially popular for botanical art and illustration.
The block is lightly glued on all four edges, so no stretching is required and the sheet stays flat while you paint. After finishing each artwork, simply cut along the edge with a paper knife to remove the sheet cleanly.
