To maintain optimal performance, always keep the sponge clean and ready for use. If the sponge gets dirty, clean it using Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N (sold separately) or a mild detergent. Apply approximately 1 mL (about the size of a 10 yen coin) of the cleaner directly to the soiled area without wetting your hands or the sponge. Gently wrap your fingers around the sponge to blend the cleaner with the dirt. Rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove any detergent residue, then drain and dry the sponge in the shade before use. If the sponge becomes uncomfortable to use or the finish deteriorates, it is recommended to purchase a new sponge.
